First Annual PAR TEE FORE A CURE
Charity Golf Marathon

June 17, 2010 at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club

We are very pleased to announce the First Annual Charity Golf Marathon will be played as a part of our FUNdraising activities.  On June 17, 2010, four golfers will play up to 133 holes (distance equivalent to a 26 mile marathon!) on foot.

The Carleton Golf & Yacht Club has agreed to host this event and provide our golfers with priority on the course.  You are invited to come to the course and watch the event.

Carleton Golf and Yacht members Nancy Gerritse, Deb Bouchier, Pat Fitzgerald and John Radmore will be the participants for the inaugural event.

Members of other club who would be interested in participating at their club next year can contact John Radmore at 613-692-0639.

Notification of results will be provided the following day, and donations are needed in-hand by our main event, scheduled June 27th.

A pledge per hole or for a maximum amount would be greatly appreciated.  If you would like to make a pledge please complete the attached form.

We are tentatively planning to have this event tracked on the internet so you can watch the progress of the players from the convenience of your computer.  Details of this option will be posted closer to the event so check back for details.
